I'm only going to see Live, the Goos and STP. The rest of that weekend will be spent at Mall of AmericaPoetsandMadmen wrote:I can't honestly say there's any band on that bill that I care to see. I remember when Switchfoot use to play a small club here in Johnson City when they were still on the Tooth and Nail label. That's been almost ten years ago though. WARRANT / CINDERELLA TOUR - CANCELLED:
The Cinderella/Warrant/Lynch Mob/Lynam tour has been cancelled.
The official statement from Cinderella's manager, Tim Heyne reads: "It's with unbelievably deep regret that I must announce that Cinderella's Tom Keifer's left vocal cord has hemorrhaged, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future.
Tom felt his throat give way last night (June 11) finishing the set in pre-production rehearsals, went to his vocal doctor (Dr. Stephen Mitchell) in Nashville this morning, and was told the grim news. In the short term,Tom's doctor told him it would be two to three weeks before the swelling and damage would recede to a point to where an assessment can be made as to whether surgery will be required.
Consequently, and again, most regretfully, we have no choice but to postpone the upcoming Cinderella tour until such time as Tom is ready tour again."

Wow. I had no idea who Lynam (was on the tour schedule with Warrant, Cinderella and Lynch Mob) were until I read this: http://www.garageband.com/artist/Lynam
Am I the only person here that didn't know Stevie Nicks had 3 children with Ronnie James Dio???

Re: What concerts are you attending this summer?
I don't believe that story at all. It is well documented that Stevie never had children, much less three, much less by Ronnie James Dio of all people. How could they have kept that hidden all this time?
Plus, Dio was going by the name Ronnie Dio as far back as when he was in Ronnie and the Prophets, well before he joined Rainbow.
Add to that Ronnie was born Ronald James Padavona to an Italian family in New Hampshire.
Those guys are full of shit.

Maybe that's why I didn't know about it then!
"I made a conscious decision that I was not going to have children. I didn't want others raising them, and looking after them myself would get in the way of being a musician and writer." ~ Stevie Nicks

Re: What concerts are you attending this summer?
Tonight I'm going to watch NASHVILLE Star the Finale show: I know it's a TV program but that's as close I'm going to get to a Concert this summer/2008.
Anyway, there's lots of music artists/bands I would love to see but if the timeing isn't right then unfortunatley I lose out on seeing someone really special...'that happens alot. So, there's TV and tonight I'm going Country...I think all of them/Melissa, Shawn & Gabe should win, so far this is the best music Contest show I've seen in quite awhile. Check it out...'it's the Finale show/fame Country Star Billy Ray Cyrus is the Host!
