Very sad tearful news another Classic musician passing away much too soon: much heartfelt condolences to The Lane Family and WARRANT for their lost Jani LANE. Rest in sweet peace.

More sad news. This is getting old already! Bulletboys drummer Johnny Giosa has been killed in a car crash in LA. From: www.noisecreep.com/.
One-time BulletBoys drummer Johnny Giosa, perhaps best known as Johnny G, was killed in a car accident on Sunday in Los Angeles at the age of 42. The band confirmed that it was indeed Giosa who died, courtesy of a Facebook post. The text of that emotional (and unedited) post is as follows: "I post this message with a heavy heavy heart...Words cannot express how devastated I am to hear about my friends passing, Mr. Johnny G. My sincerest condolences to his family and the ones he loved. We're all going to miss you brother! RIP....Skinnard!!"
Giosa was a bit of a Renaissance man. He didn't just bash the skins. He also dabbled in other creative fields, such as acting, modeling and hair styling. He enjoyed stints in bands in both Philly and LA, but the BulletBoys were his most recent musical gig. Metal Sludge reported that friends say the drummer hanging out a club and that he was likely killed on a freeway in Southern California while driving home."

Robbie France (played drums for UFO and Diamond Head), passed away suddenly January 14 from a ruptured aorta.

Late last week Therese Hanserot, the original lead singer in Destiny, passed away at only 48 years of age

Bill Berko passed away on Jan. 19, 2010. Bill was an early collaborator with Mike Matthews and was asked to be a partner in the fledgling Electro-Harmonix company.

Bill Berko was the designer of the early Foxey Lady pedal built by Aul Instruments for Electro-Harmonix in 1967 and was also the designer of the legenday Axis fuzz, the first pedal to bear the Electro-Harmonix name as well as a Guild-branded version again called the Foxey Lady.

My apologies, the date of Mr. Berko's passing is listed as January 2010. I didn't notice that until now. It may be old news, but still sad to know that one of the early collaborators from Electro-Harmonix has passed on.

So, sad (and quite a tragic surprise) during this past weekend a very special Swan-Soultress Vocalist Whitney Houstan passed on. Much heartfelt condolences go out to the legendary HOUSTON Family a big healing Heart embrance to them all. God Bless. I love the legendary The MONKEE'S, too. We (my sis & I) used to watch their show back in the mid 60's and a total Comedy Classic it was and still is. "Here We Come Walking down the street....'-Rest in sweet harmony DAVY JONES and heartfelt condolences to his legendary bandmates and to the Jones Family. Loved all there Classic's especially, Day Dreamer Believer and Last Train to Cloaksville to name a few.
