I think Dilana is going to get stale on us before Lucas will. She's too predictable - good, but predictable.
I still believe Toby will take it all in the end. I feel like he has the chops, plus I believe he'd be easy for Supernova to work with. He doesn't have a major attitude, but he seems to have a strong personality. In other words, I believe he'd be a good leader.

Phil needs to be doing an EMO/Jimmy Eat World kind of thing. He's good and he's grown on me, but I don't think he's the best fit for Supernova. He absolutly nailed the Tonic song last week I thought!

I agree but, Tommy said they want someone at risk to fall off stage. Maybe if they pump enough alcohol into the Tobester he just may be able to take that tumble! LOL @ Tommy Lee thinking he's still 20 years old.

Yeah, Tommy is a knucklehead! I like the guy, but he is a clown. Tommy doesn't want to get stuck with a liabilty, no matter how much he thinks he's "rock n roll" or whatever.

So far I seem to miss it more then I've seen the new Rock Star 2nd season show and that really made me quite upset/I'm like I know I have these times down right but for some reason they be going off the moment I arrive Home. Anyway I finally saw a full hour of it last night and I really like that resembles a vampire Dilana/Dalana something like that she has a nice raspy/Soulful Rockin' range and "strong" stage presence musicianship! She should win hands down all the way: and there's a few others I liked but the vampire girl should take the prize. It was great seeing fame Musicians Jason Newsted (yeah, I got teary eye there for a moment & totally beamed when he performed to one of the songs last night! Cool performance!), Tommy Lee (the Executioner-he has a tough job chosen who will go), Gilby Clarke and Dave Navarro all look dynomite. Hopefully, the up & coming shows won't be time conflicting because I really enjoy watching the show & them! :D Big smile. Peace.

Good show last night-tense, and a few harsh criticisms, all true though. Dana took a lot of heat, and I have to give her credit-she kicked ass last night on that Sass Jordan song. I still don't think she's going to win, but for the first time I could see WHY she's even in this thing.

Although he's not my favorite either, that was cool that they picked Magni for the encore. He can't come close to Weiland's vocal on Plush, but he did surprise me a little.

Dilana's comments to Dana were honest but not overly harsh. She showed that she's got some class and diplomacy, IMO. I think people need to see past her appearance. "You have to feel the song" is what she told Dana at the mansion. Truth.

I figured out what it is about Josh that I can't stand, besides his nasally whiny voice. He sings out of the side of his mouth, and it makes him look like he's permanently smirking. His voice does nothing for me.

Zayra MUST GO!

Actually, Josh surprised the daylights out of me last night! I don't like the guy either, but he nailed his performance last night. His voice was killer on that tune!

I can't believe Zayra stayed last night to be honest. Magni did okay on Tuesday, but I thought Lucas did a better job and deserved the encore.

I still find it funny that Supernova keep saying 'bring the rock', but these singers are still getting up there performing some mellow rock songs.

Yeah, Josh screamed at the end of 'Heart Shaped Box', but is that really a heavy song?

Dana made a gutsy move singing that Sash Jordan song. Most people have forgotten that song, but she really belted it out.

Next week, Josh or Zayra will be gone. I think they're keeping Zayra around just so they could criticize her. She gets very defensive!
I heard 'Purple Haze' on the radio and ...... it made the hairs on the back of my neck stood up

Sass had some good songs out in the early 90s. I wonder what happened to her?

I think it's funny, too...especially since the singers can't pick their own music. They have to battle over a new set of songs every week, so how can they bring the rock when the choices they're given are so lame? I understand that they can't always sing whatever they want because the licenses have to be approved/released, but you would think Supernova already realizes that.

What about when a singer ends up in the bottom three? Do they have more of a choice of songs since they could be voted off.

Obviously, there are still restrictions, but can they sing a song that will show off their talent. Just curious

The way I understand it (and I could be wrong), everyone seems to have certain showcase type songs that they keep 'on tap' in case they get stuck in the bottom 3. Dana made an excellent choice with her Sass Jordan cover; Matt sealed his fate when he picked Duran Duran. I'm not sure if those are songs that they get to pick, or if they're from a pool of songs selected by the show.

I'm sure the song selection is also limited because of the house band. They are tight, but I'm sure there are limits to what songs they can do. I'd bet they have a list of pre-determined tunes.
