Re: Best Instrumental Songs?
Thoughts - Rare Earth
Casino Royale - Herb Albert & the Tiaquani Brass <>I know it's spelled wrong, sorry but everything by Herb Albert & his band is Master major Classic.
and instrumental songs by Earth, Wind & Fire, Chicago, War & Blood, Sweat & Tears, etc.,. are also high on the list great jamming instrumental sounds from all those music bands.

Wow, you guys pretty much "picked" some truelly unique Instrumental music above: All of them worthy to be in the Spotlight...'that's for sure. But to add more to the flame so to speak I need to collect my "thoughts" so to speak of all the music jam bands/I love to pieces since my 1st album RARE EARTH "Get Ready" talk about an Instrumental jam..'that's a Master Classic. Anyway need some time to collect my "Thoughts" huh that's another Rare Earth instrumental Classic...'of Instrumental Bands from many music genre's that Rocked the House down. cheers.
There's this band called THEM CROOKED VULTURES: I was like in awe with their live performance on PBS recently...'their have legendary musicians in that line-up. I was in "shock" seeing the FOO FIGHTER'S Lead Vocalist/Guitarist playing Drums. That blew me awaaayyyy...'I'm like he plays, Drums too!?! He was awesome!!!!!!

Ah yes, i loved Paul Gilbert and Bruce Bouillet together in Racer-X. I had Street Lethal and burned that tape out LOL. I have Cacophony with Marty Friedman and Jason Becker. Becker's "Perpetual Burn" is also a fave of mine. I also wanted to put Ronnie Le Tekro's "Sapphire" on this list from TNT's Tell No Tales.
Some excellent choices Tedeeoo.

Oh yeah, I love Ronnie Le Tekro. He wrote some of the most killer riffs and played maybe my all time favorite solo within a song on 10,000 Lovers, that solo is so note perfect while still being fiery and over the top. The opening riff to "Caught Between The Tigers" still blows me away everytime I listen to it. And Tony Harnell was a pretty decent singer too, lol!!!!!
