Re: New Jake Performances
WOW! Thanx for sharing!
I agree - how do we know that's is "last ever" performance of the song? I"ve never had a burning desire to go to Vegas, but if Jake is playing there on a more routine basis...I just might have to save up & take a flight out there! lol
Have to say though, was not too entirely impressed with the singer/drummer. I like female drummers, I just didn't think whe was "all that"...
But I have to say, in the Shot in the Dark video....doncha just love obnoxious drunk guys? lmao

I'm not suffering from my addiction to Jake E. Lee - I'm enjoying every minute of it!
Re: New Jake Performances
The drummer was fun to watch... she had energy as she was pounding away.
I'll cut her some slack on the singing though. Between playing drums at the same time, being in a place that's got tons of other noise going on, and being recorded (probably) on someone's cheap phone or camera, I'm more into the energy vibe that's coming from the players.

It's waaay cool of you to let us in on this, bernidb! I can certainly get through the long days and nights without ever hearing or seeing the drummer again . . . but seeing Jake rip was stellar! Like, with a Gretsch, even!
Re: New Jake Performances
Hi again, glad I could share this with you all.
You may also want to check this out:

Especially at 0:31, Jake on camera tells everybody to F.O.
Also at 5:18, interviews with Syndney Lavine and Johnny Rocker (Drummer/singer and bassist for 3 Day Crush). Syndney mentions that they will be playing the "Imagine Festival" in September.
Not sure what/where that is but if anyone knows please share.

Great work again bernidb! You've really brought some excitement to the forum.
So far this is the only info I could find on the "Imagine Festival"

I heard 'Purple Haze' on the radio and ...... it made the hairs on the back of my neck stood up
Re: New Jake Performances
A treasure treat for the "Soul" seeing the legendary Rebel Blues-Rocker Jake E. Lee jamming "live"...'that was really cool and the so amazing w/just a 3 piece band/that was dynomite "all" of you kicked mega-buns! I'm blown away "freakin" awesome "Monkey on my Back and Shot In the Dark" trailblazed. Glad to see that JAKE is very much active and still growing strong musically with what he does w/such love, deep strength and passionate energies...'playing music. Keep on Rockin' Samurai Rebel: JAKE still has that Classic raw-solid stance in his live performances, WOW!!!
Just beautiful. Godbless!
Re: New Jake Performances
So, is Jake a permanent member of this band? Kind of sounded that way from the interview with the drummer/singer and bass player. At any rate its good to see Jake out and about.

Like, Jake has a nose ring. I'm not saying that like it's necessarily a bad thing . . . just odd.

Re: New Jake Performances
I just saw those vids on Blabbermouth.net and it was with a band called 3 Day Crush and the venue is a Bar n Grill which is owned by Dave Navarro. Good to see the fretmaster playing live again.
Sounded awesome i thought.
