You know what? Speaking of great music, great bands, and great days. . . I think that I had adopted a reflective attitude by the time I was 18, although it's a little foggy because I was recuperating from a horrible head injury, and that was nineteen years ago!!!. It really seems, however, as if the good stuff had been worn-out of it's socket by the late eighties.
Ahh, but I remember the two most perfect female bodies that I've ever seen, heading down to the riverparks in the '75 Buick Regal with the sunroof off, shades on, all the Van Halens, ( Coming out of the seventies, I had a special place in my heart for the Allman Brothers Band, Aerosmith, Kiss, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, B.O.C., the Tubes, the Edgar Winter Group, Led Zep, Genesis, Styx, and Foreigner), AC/DC, Randy Rhoads, George Thorougood and the Destroyers, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Y&T, Steve Lukather, Dokken on the Marantz ( cassette player/radio) blasting the hell out-of the Jensons, Molly Hatchet, .38 Special, Queensryche, Yngwie, then Whitesnake's self-titled and weird-sounding-because-it-was-so-damn-damn-good album! And, then it was like, "shit, what the f--k did I miss?!" Fortunately, Nirvana, U2, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Run DMC were there to remind me.
