Whelp, stocks are down, really down, and that pretty well designates tough times for everyone. Although, it seems that we've benefitted, for some odd reason, with uncharacteristically low gas prices. (insert Kermit the Frog whooping enthusiastically, here) Down here, around Ormond and Daytona Beach, we're looking at $2.69 per gallon.

Update, down here. At Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona, which you may remember from the Geico commercial, ( and is not actually in Daytona Beach) Regular unleaded is $2.55, and farther down US1, into Daytona Beach we get on down to $2.39

I paid $2.59 at a Sheetz here in Maryland today - that's the lowest it's been in a looong time.

Hell, atleast he had enough lead in his pants to counter-attack. Speaking of terrible presidents - Jimmy Carter, even, had the same resounding and sustaining support as the presidents during the World Wars received! Additionally speaking, he didn't have a major conflict to keep him awake for years. His has certainly been a decade of uncharted waters, and my thought is the general population in this country has turned their back on George W. Bush, and for that I hang my head as lowly as when that damn Clinton . . .
