Where to get Jake E. Lee's stratocaster pickguard

I was wondering where can you purchase one or have one made. I tried looking over the .net but I couldn't find any.

In my experience, Warmoth wouldn't do it. They have less than high quality pickguards anyway, so I would highly recommend Pickguardian.com. I ended up going with black plexiglass for material, and I love it. Any standard pickguard would have been scratched up by now.

Remember...

The white-charvelized strat had a Northern Ash body (as far as I know).

I did some digging at Fender.com and although I didn't
find anything specific on a 1974 strat this was the closest I could get

Quoting the specification-link:

(821) Natural, (Ash Body),

Body:
Ash (800), (821); Alder on (805), (806)

... and as far as we know, Jakes strat was originally sunburst

They're worth every penny. If you want cheaper, you should get a blank and cut it yourself free-hand. That's what WD Music does. Most pickguards out there are made of cheap plastic too. You get what you pay for.

+1 Warmoth will not do the reverse single coil angle. I ended up getting a pickguard for 1 Hum, then using a StewMac single coil template and routed them myself. Of course you need a router with a ball bearing bit.

Beware, GMW cannot do a "Strathead" anymore due to a cease and desist order from Fender. They are coming out with a new headstock and should be available by NAMM.
