so good just to see him. I had many chances over the years to build one that is not perfect to the original, so I think I'll keep on track and make one of my own, with the only change being a contour heel for easier access.

did I say how EXCELLENT it is to see Jake playing a white charvel again ...

good stuff

It is a bummer that Jake won't throw jefnel a bone. For a VERY long time now, this is the only place I have come for Jake E Lee news, discussion etc. I think it's the only place Jake fans CAN come! I'm dedicated to his music, and I always thought Jake was a very cool guy since meeting him in 1986. I ...

So. Freaking. Stoked.

so are you saying to buy a bullet truss neck and then get another bullet to replace the original bullet OR are you saying to just get a strat neck and put the bullet on?

does the truss rod actually work in this setup, or is it just cosmetic. you really NEED a truss rod, its not a decoration, as you ...

would like some details on the neck, particularly the bullet truss rod solution and headstock. was this headstock re-shaped?

how did you match the bridge and the hardtail body? people seem to run into trouble there.

also cant tell if the heel is rounded like an old school strat, or flat shelf ...

I still have that exact Jake E Lee t-shirt. If I recall, there were 2 versions for sale on the merch tables. I also still have The Ultimate Sin tour book, and after the show I found a pick, got my picture taken with Jake and he signed my ticket stub. One of the best and most memorable nights of my ...

So happy to see Jake. That solo was very nice as well. He hasn't lost a thing.

alot of those random Fedaykin comments are funny. strange, but funny.

I miss Jake so much, but you are right that we have all changed. I got turned on to The Replacements and Paul Westerberg, then just dug back into the blues.

Meeting Jake and getting his autograph, a pick, and taking a photo with him still remains one of my life's fondest memories. He just seemed ...

Jake E Lee LIVE Nov 2009

just another .02 on this.. I am also a fan of Steve Vai, and after posting a review of his latest CD, he PMed me, and it meant so much.

Steve also posts from time to time, but more keeps a blog. I hate to sound sarcastic, but Steve is also much busier than Jake, with a ton of projects in the past ...

i met jake. he was kind and gentle. just seemed like a cool guy, when as a guitar god in 1986, he could have been a jerk. like others i have met...
