Anybody here fans of Budgie?? Looked into them a few months back after I read the Dave Mustaine bio. Those guys were phenomenal. I picked up their greatest hits on amazon and was blown away-too cool considering these tunes were from early to mid 70's.
Any thoughts ??

I too give this a thumbs up, Eddie sounds like Eddie, and Alex sounds good too. Will have to spin it a few more times to sink it in, but from a guitar standpoint, there are some good riffs in there. I am happy with this release for whatever that is worth.

Only two questions I have:
1) why is kool and the gang opening up some dates, Rival Sons would have been perfect.
2) any bets that the lowest priced tix will be under $100.00-doubtful, but

it got a good review, but under the listing for additional musicians,
Jake is not on the list.
the plot thickens, will we ever know the truth, did he play on this record,
is he really Italian, does he grill out with psycho chicks ...

I love the text when it says Jake is alive and well and living in Vegas and would rather play with Beggars and Thieves, than to deal with sleazy promoters and play Bark at the Moon 750 more times-you go Boy!!
